Even for shorthanding the more prominent aspects, wouldn't some other method of description or classification be more useful?! Like "The Wise Mentor" or "Manic Pixie Dream Girl" or "they are very inquisitive and shy" or whatnot. And the extended discussions inevitably descend into wank about what it means to be Slytherin or whatever.
