Writing Rainbow

Was feeling a tad bleh this morning, but then I saw a flashfic exchange had popped up overnight, and now I'm signed up for Writing Rainbow! Sign-ups and noms are up concurrently and close tomorrow, fics due Wednesday, minimum word count 300 words, must contain the word "Blue" in the title. Guardian is in the tagset, as are some pretty juicy freeforms! Join me!

I'll see about adding more offers for matchability later today/early tomorrow, but in the meanwhile, I'm going to watch the 2009 Mulan movie with Wei Zhao, and maybe reorganize my tea shelf.

Alas, I'm not good at exchanges or flashfic, which means I have no idea how to game my signup so I'm sure to write Guardian and not the other two fandoms I have to add. (The monofannish life...) But. Hmm. 300 words isn't bad at all.

There are some original works in the tagset, too, which traditionally have much greater numbers of offers than requests, so if you're offering something else as well you have much greater chances of being assigned the non-original works thing. Requests are harder to game, but I guarantee that at least I am offering Guardian, and maybe someone else will as well? Sign-ups haven't been open for long yet.

... also I'm really happy about the 'New Minion Is Surprisingly Uncooperative Despite Being Brainwashed/Mind Controlled' tag someone put up, it is fantastic for wacky hijinks with Ye Zun and Zhao Yunlan.

Indeed! I have written over 700 words so far today, and I watched and liked both the 2009 live-action Mulan and the first few episodes of Oh My General! Nothing quite like doing something other than moping to cure one's bleh. :P
