Worldcon!

I'm at Worldcon! I've met schneefink and gone to a bunch of panels. A ransom passerby said he'd enjoyed the panel I was a participant on, so, yay!

Goals include getting food after this panel (Zap! Lightning science ... presenter's late, though) and seeing if I can get my Revenant Gun signed by yhlee (who has said he's OK with signing stuff if we catch him, even if he doesn't have a real signing time. I have a few things at 15 I might want to attend, but today's selection's been much less interesting. After that, there's one I want to go to at 19 and that's it.

All the restaurants open super late here (lunch is at 11, restaurants open at 12...) and unlike Finland, there's no real buffet culture. The portion sizes are also for ants. Ah, capitals

Glad you're having a good time! Yikes about the food tho. Not as much fun gallivanting about while hungry...

My minion thinks the portions are almost adequate, but I am starving. And today's lunch will have to be a pile of sandwiches due to my panel schedule.

Omg that's awful. I'm so used to last-minute scrambling for a lunch option being "we can always go to the nearest buffet."
