Fandom Snowflake #12: memes
For
snowflake_challenge. I saw
mekare had done a Which Sci-Fi Character Are You meme, so I decided to do the same one.
An honest and chivalrous adventurer that pursues just causes, you would sacrifice much to help others.
Not sure quite how well that fits, but hey, I got a character from a property I've actually seen! (Babylon 5)
Then I went to the snowflake post and saw that they had a bunch of other old memes linked! I, of course, decided to do some more.
What number are you? I am 5, the Investigator. Not sure about the whole "skills to lead the world" bit or the paranoia, but I am definitely sharp, inventive, reclusive, and weird.
I write like... Arthur Clarke, apparently. (I pasted in about a quarter of Ding Dong the Sith is Dead, as that was my most recent work.)
Which historical lunatic are you? I am Nikola Tesla, which, yes, that is a good result, I approve.
Then there's the Dewey Decimal one, for which I used my AO3 account creation date as a birthday and got a very appropriate result:
ExtraPenguin's Dewey Decimal Section:
527 Celestial navigation
ExtraPenguin's AO3 account's birthday: 5/14/2013 = 514+2013 = 2527
Class:
500 Science
Contains:
Math, astronomy, prehistoric life, plants and animals.
What it says about you:
You are fascinated by the world around you, and see it as a puzzle worth exploring. You try to understand how things work and how you can make them better. You might be a nerd.

As for how this post shall end, well, it shall end with one final meme, this time interactive: the music shuffle! The first lines of 20 songs from my music playlist. Guess the song/artist! Strikethroug'd ones have been guessed already.
1. Auch auf den Wellen wird gefochten
2. You're fighting an endless war
3. I type the secret code again
4. Onnen keiju, ole hyvä ja lennä, ole hyvä ja lennä
5. Come and sail along the shores of your homeland
6. You'll burn this time
7. We seduce the dark with pain
8. This was a triumph
9. I keep on hearing them saying what I should do (or, if spoken bits count: We all die)
10. You've told me to keep all my pride to myself
11. 盈十里煌绸交错
12. Heads high, throw the dice
13. You got the notion, a motion
14. Two eyes lurk in the darkness
15. Unreal as I fight back, my heart is telling me
16. In the sea, you're standing there, watching me
17. Keep yourself from falling into cursed deep waters
18. Hear the sound of the machine guns (or, if spoken bits count, a quote from Sun Tzu's The Art of War)
19. Will you have this dance with me?
20. Happy tears fade fast, sad tears tend to last

I am a Ranger. We walk in the dark places no others will enter. We stand on the bridge and no-one may pass. We live for the One, we die for the One.
