I'm glad you found it all interesting! The book was very humane and pragmatic and I'm not sure if there's anything at all similar available in English. I'm curious about what writing advice you found – the reasons appreciation might not be received? Ways to show characters showing appreciation to each other = showing that they are important to each other?
