Still in Logistics Hell and I'll spend the weekend writing job applications (well, one job application; in my field they're Very Extensive and also I need to get a recent photograph of myself for the CV), but hey, progress! I am suddenly fine with the passage of time again!

Small joy of today: I had a thing in town today. Before I left, there was an intense rainshower that stopped a bit before I went. I cycled there, was there, and on the way back noted just how thick the clouds were and heard thunder and saw lightning. It was also really windy (all tailwind, too! v. impressive cycling weather). Basically the moment I came home the sky ripped apart and started pouring. A+ timing, me.

Do you like riding in the rain? If I'm on my way home (as opposed to going out, where I'm going to have to deal with being soggy for ages), I sometimes find it exhilarating.

A small mist is fine, but anything more than drizzle just annoys me. Though tbf we seem to get a Lot of torrential downpours, so perhaps my idea of rain is different to yours.

Thank you! I have to plan not one but TWO menus and multiple of my relatives don't know their shift schedules/ability to attend yet. This is horrible.

Nah, I can't ride in misty rain -- I can't see anything, because glasses. But I'm fine with getting soaked under the right circumstances.
