A youth misspent reading Hard SF and getting a physics degree have left their marks on me, let's say. *g* And lately I find I have to skip over pages in Hard SF books because I already know the scientific principle they're infodumping about! /o\ (Add to that that they mostly include unnecessary het, and I'm grumpy. Go back to no-romance science fiction if you can't write a romantic relationship!)
