2. Favorite case
The Dixing's Lord case thing, where the old Lord has died and An Bai must ascend! (Episodes 22 & 23.) I enjoyed Zhao Yunlan's adventures in Dixing, as usual, and the worldbuilding we got. As well as the pinky promise, Shen Wei talking at his brother, and Zhao Yunlan declaring he'd wait out Shen Wei's secret-keeping. Shen Wei and Zhao Yunlan also cooperated seamlessly! It was very nice and I wish we'd have gotten more like it.

Runner-up: Zheng Yi's case of Zhao Yunlan forcing Shen Wei into revealing himself (episodes 11-13), but Zhao Yunlan's hair was still terrible so I cannot in good conscience pick that one. :P
