Fandom Snowflake #9: Canon Promotion Time!

The one I'm promoting is Sect Leader and Little Shimei's Story! It's a 14-minute short film where bubbly and cheerful disciple of a cultivational/martial arts sect Ye Xiaoqi wanders off, gets saved by wandering cultivator Xiao Rufeng, and follows the kuudere sect leader who saved her around. It is ridiculously adorable, the acting is great, and the main characters are hot. It also has long hair, height gaps, and swords! Google Drive folder with engsubs and .flv.

To sweeten the pot, I made some icons, presented here out of order. Some might be spoilery I guess?

I've just watched four vids with additional material that wasn't in the movie. There is so much cuteness - there is hugging and cuddling and hand-holding and sleeping in one bed. And Xiao Rufeng holding a fluffy white bunny, which later turns into Ye Xiaoqi. Awwwww.... ♥

I watched that extra MV with a sort of continuation scene of the battle where Xiao Rufeng shielded a wounded Ye Xiaoqi, and it was adorbs. Some of the cutesy scenes could've been put in well enough, and then some scenes looked like they were alternate takes of scenes we got (Xiao Rufeng in the red clothes in the "confrontation with dashixiong" place, that umbrella scene), but I wonder what would've been going on for the subplot where Ye Xiaoqi stabs Xiao Rufeng and nurses her to health...

Yes, I wondered about that, too. It was at first a very angsty scene, and then it changed into a lovely hurt/comfort scene. :)

The icons are gorgeous! Especially the boob collision ones and the very last one with Xiao Rufeng and her umbrella. (I may take some of these in hopes of someday becoming the kind of person who uses more than one icon.)
