Observations:
- the MDZS tag sees way more traffic than the CQL tag
- using a song as background inspiration is fun (and a quick title shortcut)! 08 & 10 were with Yawning Grave, 12 with Asphyxia, 04 with Lichun, 13 with Mangzhong, 14 with Shuangjiang, 15 with Guyu, and 16 with Dashu. (I won't do all of the solar terms, but there are still some nice songs left there, and Yushui's coming up on the 19th.)

I also just finished Fairyland Lovers. Everything about the main couple was a mix of ??? and "why isn't anyone telling anyone anything???" and basically not my tropes at all, but the B couple was really nice! Despite it being het, I actually ship Xiaoxiao/Yang Jian! He believes in personal disclosure and telling his love interest things! Their endgame situation was also nice enough, even if it wasn't quite ideally conforming to my preferences. I don't think I'll write much fic, though.

I have one episode of Fairyland Lovers left, but I'm too tired right now and I'm leaving it for tomorrow. And I ship Yang Jian/Xiao Xiao, too. They are adorable together.

Although I also really enjoyed those Lin Xia & Xiao Xiao scene in episode 30 with the drinking and sharing and dancing on the bed. That was so cute. And I enjoyed your little ficlet about them. And if you'll ever decide to write Yang Jian/Xiao Xiao you'll have at least one grateful reader. :D

The bed-dancing scene was cute, too! I definitely enjoyed the fact that the show didn't go for any catfight tropes, even if Lin dad was all "OMG no!!!1!" at it.

I do have one ficlet idea, but let's see when I'll have the time to write it! Xiao Xiao POV, original idea was aromantic Yang Jian because that way he can have his cake and eat it too wrt powers, but let's see how it shakes out in light of the finale.
