I've been reading up on traumatic brain injury for the casefic. Most of it won't end up anywhere near the fic, and there's dark energy involved so I can handwave things, but: research. *whistles innocently*

No Regrets, ~500 words of pre-series Shen Wei missing Kunlun and adjusting to the modern life. I really enjoy what I did with the language, actually! The fic itself is short and sweet, and couldn't take stretching out, both on the level of running out of things to say and on the level of it being hopeful pining which would be rendered hopeless by focusing on it more. What happens next is episode one. :P

You got (Don't) Stop Telephoning Me! I'm still proud of the humor and snake paratrooper Zhu Hong. As for what happens afterwards, well, Lin Jing won't unmatch Zhu Jiu and they'll continue chatting on Haixing Tinder and go to Zhu Jiu's favorite cosplay shop together, and then Lin Jing realizes he's basically dating Zhu Jiu and also spying on the SID for Professor Ouyang, and this whole thing spirals into a comedy of errors that ends with Lin Jing "doing research" (read: asking Zhu Jiu) and coming up with reasonable changes to the Treaty to maximize social harmony with Dixing. He gets his bonus granted double for that month, then stripped away again when Zhao Yunlan finds out he's been dating Zhu Jiu of all people. (Meanwhile, everyone is shocked that Lin Jing's date is not Ya Qing in a wig, this time.)

(What do you mean, I'm overly attached to my crackship pool noodle? *g*)

No Tome Unturned, one of my Yulefics! It's a solid fic, though I think the creative process is still close enough emotionally that I can't fully look at it with an outsider's eyes? It's the first fic for the tag Ye Zun & Ya Qing, and I think I executed the concept well.

Under Rusted Skies is fic #10! (...I have written so many things. So many.)

I'm proud of myself for writing almost 15k for an exchange deadline, and I think I did a good job adapting Guardian into the In Space! AU. I think I'd rewrite the confrontation where Zhao Yunlan pressures Shen Wei into revealing his identity – that's a bit artificial upon reread.

As for what happens post-fic, well, Ye Zun eventually moves in with Shen Wei and Zhao Yunlan into their nice house in the suburbs and takes up gardening, so Shen Wei can cook with plants his brother grew. IDK if he'll ever be okay, but he'll be content. Zhao Yunlan and Shen Wei will be happily married forevermore.

I'm glad I asked for this number, because somehow I missed this fic during Yueltide. And I find it really sweet that Ye Zun uses mind control, sure, he is Ye Zun after all, but also tries to take his customers' needs into consideration. Awww... :D

Aww, I'm glad you enjoyed it! Ye Zun is Ye Zun and has little concept of being appropriate or having boundaries, so of course he'd mind control people into enjoying the books. He has an 100% success rate, and with this front, the SID won't even grow too suspicious until it's too late Ye Zun has become a cult classic the book-buying public loves.
