Date: 2020-03-21 10:07 (UTC)I'm proud of myself for writing almost 15k for an exchange deadline, and I think I did a good job adapting Guardian into the In Space! AU. I think I'd rewrite the confrontation where Zhao Yunlan pressures Shen Wei into revealing his identity – that's a bit artificial upon reread.
As for what happens post-fic, well, Ye Zun eventually moves in with Shen Wei and Zhao Yunlan into their nice house in the suburbs and takes up gardening, so Shen Wei can cook with plants his brother grew. IDK if he'll ever be okay, but he'll be content. Zhao Yunlan and Shen Wei will be happily married forevermore.
