Merit Brush Recs is a community for the posting of recommendations of fanworks (fic, vids, art, graphics, etc.) for 镇魂 | Guardian (both the novel and drama), related RPF, and other projects starring the lead actors, Bai Yu and Zhu Yilong.

I am SO THRILLED to see something like this get started! I'm traveling over the weekend and thus only erratically available, but I'll have to dive into the fic pile later. The rules look good, and I like the suggestions of non-fic Sundays and the limits on rec spamming and the frequency at which one fic can be recced. The throwback recs day suggestion also sounds cool, even if Guardian is such a young fandom that we don't really have truly old stuff to bring back. Then again, a fic's comment lifespan generally seems to be like the first 72 hours after posting.
