In fannish news: My beta's started going through For No Cradle Lasts Forever on the second pass. The WIP (formerly known as Spaceship Rental) is 181 pages long in Google Docs and currently has 70769 words. (I'm pretty sure I'll add some extra words while I'm doing the final SPAG tightread chapter per chapter.) Not sure when I'll start posting – Tuesday at latest, but I'll try to get a double update/bonus interim update in in the ch 1-3 range.
The MDZS zine project is almost at a close – the deadline has come for submissions, and next up is the typesetting. Can't wait to see what it ends up like!
Yuletide fic is done, but feels a bit too much like skin and bones. I'll have to see about adding flesh to it in edits. It's a legit bus test pass, but I want it to be better, y'know? Then I'll see about treats – I've spied quite a few nice prompts already. Let's see if I can make them all happen...
My wintry vacation is approaching! I plan to first stay here a bit, chilling and typing. Current action plan is to do at least one useful thing a day, whether that be putting up extra hooks in the kitchen, visiting a museum/art gallery with free admission, or going for a walk.
