Working on the Li Qian post for the secondary character focus. Recs picked, one question asked, I'll write the intro when I'm less tired.

vexercises round currently ongoing is a side character focus – I had a concept, made a vid 1:08 long (as I couldn't get a satisfactory cut of the desired audio that was exactly 1:00), then I realized I hadn't even gotten to the part of the song lyrics that made me choose it ("I am a sidekick / in the story of my life") and went fuck it, time to break all the rules, and made a full-length vid! On AO3, and also as a YouTube embed:
It is by one measure the first full-length vid I've made; on another measure, Whispers, Voices, Pictures, Lies is full-length, as the audio is meant to be that length exactly, as opposed to forcibly cropped to that length. OTOH, that one's not very traditional a vid, as the audio is not a song. In either case, concrit is welcome, for all of my vexercises creations. :)
(I have a draft version of the next one, too; I'm happy enough with the no text version, but adding text in kdenlive is so fucking terrible I don't want to do it ever again. The genre bending one has a concept, I'm a bit confused by the multivid and will wait for that round to officially start so I can get further instruction, and I have an idea for the free vid, too.)
I think I'm starting to develop a style? IDK. It's early days yet, but some combo of type of idea + musical taste has coalesced into something approximating a style? Let's see where it is at the end of the vexercises gauntlet.
