extrapenguinOssus is what happens after Iokath. I approach the present at a steady clip! I'm currently in Oct 2019.
Base game (chapters 1-3)

Onslaught (Onderon + Mek-Sha)
Ossus was very pretty! It was pretty enough, in fact, that the Windows potato I use to play the game couldn't keep up with the textures and kept deloading and loading the Very Low textures vs their replacement Supreme Potato textures. The effect was a bit disconcerting, though nothing that prevented me from playing the game. (Based on starting Onslaught and finding Onderon has the exact same issue, I suspect the game has gone past my potato. RIP me.)
I only did the Imperial side – my only Republic character, Jedi Knight Kurebir, is still waiting at level 63 for me to pick who's going through Makeb Republic side before being brought up to the present. (Things I consider fun enough to do on every character/worth it for the reputation etc gains: Oricon, Forged Alliances, Shadow of Revan, Iokath, Ossus, maybe Onslaught. Makeb I did Imp side and want to see Pub side. KotFE/KotET I will skip on any and all LS Pub or DS Imp characters, because they suck.)
My greatest impression was that the planet's oddly short! I was expecting something Makeb-length, I guess, or at least a slightly expanded Yavin (Yavin + a few flashpoints or something). Instead, it's more Iokath-sized, in content and maps. I didn't do the heroics (see above wrt texture deloading issues), so maybe that'd help, but the questline felt a bit slight.
That said, it's a solid questline. We get to pick which faction to support (regardless of what we chose on Iokath, interestingly enough) and then Imp-side go destroy some Jedi and colonist efforts with the help of Major Anri, a nice Twi'lek ex-slave who's risen to prominence through competence. She made a quite fitting friend to Midwan Asp, Zabrak ex-slave who's risen to prominence through competence! I, of course, took the flirt options, though no kissing. I wouldn't say no to her being a future romance option or companion. Though comparing influence 10 Anri's combar effectiveness to influence 25 Talos's was ... well. I would have liked to show Talos the ruins.
I was spoiled for Malgus's return, but whatever, I liked it! As well as facing down Master Gnost-Dural at the end. The return to the Republic-Empire conflict was great, and we got to return to a faction of our choice. The expansion's also short enough I can see myself playing it through even with characters whose combat I don't 100% vibe with, like poor Kurebir.
Then I started Onslaught and went off to Onderon. Before that, however, I took advantage of the outfit designer to look like I was wearing something different to my actual stats gear, since I don't really like the Onderonian Force-Lord's set. A bit of tinkering at the Fleet adaptive gear later, I got what's probably meant to be an Agent armor set and dyed in black and light gray. There were some other options, but IMO the ones with hoods just look wrong on Midwan/make her horns look like they've disappeared, which, no.

On the topic of scenery, before I started Ossus I did the heroics on Korriban, Voss, and Dromund Kaas, and I realized how much I actually like those planets as well. One of Korriban's involves meditating to summon a bunch of mobs
and then Dromund Kaas is just gorgeous. Especially the Dark Temple! I mean, just look at it. Even on potato graphics it's amazing.

Future goals:
- Finish Onslaught (current status: partway through Onderon)
- Level an Imperial Agent through the class story
- Level a Smuggler through the class story (important for antisymmetry reasons: #1 and #3 from the top will be lit on the Pub side and #2 and #4 on the Imp side of the "your track to legendary" panel at login)
- Having experienced all the planets, including all four starters, post a ranking of prettiest to least prettiest with screencaps
- Level a Sith Warrior, Bounty Hunter, Trooper, and Jedi Consular, not necessarily in that order
- For at least one Pub and one Imp character, do the planet questline in full before starting the class quest for every planet, then do a write-up on e.g. what the Imperial planetary quest on Hoth is or whatever; end goal is a personal rec/anti-rec list
Yes, todo lists are my favorite hobby and "delusions of grandeur" is my default state. Why do you ask? *g*
