extrapenguinRecpost! Yuletide collection. Less stuff in both the tagset and actual collection for me to appreciate this year than last year.
My gift is This Hour, This Night, 2k of T-rated Jiang Cheng/Wei Wuxian for Modao Zushi. It perfectly captures the comfort and coziness they have around each other!

The Education of a Cavalier, 3.5k of G-rated Csethiro-centric gen for The Goblin Emperor. It's a very nice look at a young and headstrong Csethiro and how she learned how to fence.
down comes the night, 9.5k of G-rated Shen Wei/Zhao Yunlan for Guardian. It's excellent hurt/comfort get-together with Shen Wei being his usual self and not realizing that Zhao Yunlan actually cares about him as a person.
Ab Initio, 2.5k of G-rated Shen Wei-centric gen for Guardian. It's pre-canon of Shen Wei as a university student who has no idea how to computer.
Getting to Know You, 9.5k of M-rated Shen Wei/Zhao Yunlan for Guardian. The basic premise is that the treaty forbids anyone from figuring out the Black-Cloaked Envoy's identity, or otherwise he has to only live in Dixing forevermore, but Zhao Yunlan keeps figuring Shen Wei out dammit.
Two, 7.5k of T-rated Shen Wei & Ye Zun for Guardian. Pre-canon canon divergence, about Shen Wei trying to search for his beloved lost twin brother.
soften endless nights of wind and rain, 1.7k of M-rated Shen Wei/Zhao Yunlan for Guardian. Zhao Yunlan does his very best to fix the energy system imbalance and Shen Wei's self-esteem issues via literature research and seduction, respectively.
Scattered Sounds, 1.8k of E-rated Lan Wangji/Wei Wuxian for Modao Zushi. Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji are holed up in an inn, and Wei Wuxian, bored, convinces Lan Wangji to play something on the guqin that isn't for battle or meditation.
build a bridge to the stars, 2.5k of G-rated Kiem Tegnar/Jainan nav Adessari for The Course of Honor. Jainan's invited to give a talk on regolith extraction, but needs a bit of a confidence boost from Kiem. A nice character study of Jainan and their relationship.
The inevitability of history, 1.2k of G-rated gen for the Voynich Manuscript. It's an alternate history, where the Voynich manuscript and the holistic views of nature and engineering it presented reigned supreme, instead of the modern ones.
