Amount of scenes projected from now to the end: ~5k
...and there's enough places where I went [concluding paragraph] and/or there's stuff to elaborate that this'll break 40k by gedit's wordcount meter! It overcounts a bit compared to AO3's, but: I will have written a novel-length fic! Deadline is on Thursday...), but soon after, and after I tackle my 520 Ex assignment to some degree – either a finished draft or an outline, if it's something I want to write at length and sink into – I'll revise the draft so it's in pre-posting shape, and then post in increments while I do the final SPAG & wordchoice readthrough. 10 chapters, approximately! Then I'll be freeeee to write Guardian fic.

Hi! This doesn't have ship tags. There will be ships, but since ship tags are actually spoilers (though spoilers we're very used to having, in fandom), I decided to not put any ship tags on this by way of experiment. (There's also a secondary character whose eventual romantic fate is still not quite decided; I'll decide in the edits.) I do understand that some people only really discover fic via ship tags, or don't want to click on fic where their NOTP might happen, so I'll add the ship tags perhaps 48h after I've posted the final chapter.
