I think it helps when you're writing lots of ficlets -- you don't have so much time to hover over AO3 because, you know, you're busy writing the next one! Yes! It's 1. Write fic 2. Post fic 3. Repeat. With occasional forays into ??? if someone, y'know, actually comments, because wtf is this comment thingy. :P
