vexercises final exercise deadline was over the weekend; I made a canon divergence fixit for Guardian. The color grading gave me some trouble, but I eventually got it fixed, and the result works color-wise. Not quite sure the idea was long enough for a full song, but, hey, it's done! (On AO3)

I also did what I'd threatened to do and made a Shen Wei POV cut of select bits of Guardian! Chronological order, episodes 40, 34, 35, and 1. Poor bb. Google drive link, no subs. It's ... 33 minutes long. It's sort of interesting to see what the thing looks like from Shen Wei's POV! I might throw up some coarse-timed subtitles to go with it later, we'll see.

Oh, this is a great vid! I especially like Shen Wei as the "creature of the night" (which is more novel than drama canon than i expected, but I personally like it a lot!). Yay for fix-its!

I will probably also brave the Shen Wei cut at some point (subs or not).

It is permanently night in Dixing! What most attracted me to the song was the "When your back's against the wall/Who's gonna catch you when you fall?" bit. I also very carefully picked only night and Dixing shots for all but the last bit. And yeah, they need a fix-it.
