I watched it with friends, and HOLY FUCK. Basic gist: movie about a group of immortals with canon gay, canon femslash, and lots of excellent and hot fight scenes with good backing soundtrack. Warning for mild body horror (immortals take some time to heal up and sometimes they die in ways that involve fucked-up joints). Andromache is my absolute fave and I love her and the fact she's a force of nature with pretty much any weapon and omg. Nile is an excellent newbie, too, and her actress does a really good job with her! The movie's only been out since Friday and there's also apparently talks of a sequel already, which is good, since I really really want to see more of Quynh.

The choreography was gorgeous! All the bits where they passed things to each other, or gestured where they were going, or moved a target precisely into the other's line of fire— so beautifully done!
