Doing meme 4 from here.
What was your favorite childhood book or books?
Well, depends on childhood's definition I guess? :P Let's go from "first memories" to age 12.
Ages ~9 to 12 I was a fan of Pony Pals, due to the horsyness. At 10 I also discovered Asimov's Robot series, which is still a favorite, and walked down the well-illuminated path of science fiction. In the category of horse books, I also liked Merja Jalo's Nummelan ponitalli stuff. Oh, and Animorphs around age 10-11? (I think they're still the only YA books I've read; I jumped straight from Middle Grade to Adult.)
Nonfictionwise, I adored the Murderous Maths and Horrible Science books! I was also that weird kid who read all the textbooks from cover to cover as soon as we got them, lol.
