(no subject)

I have published 237127 words of Guardian fic on AO3. That's over 200k! Guardian accounts for 41% of my total AO3 word count! And I have another 4k-ish of casefic WIP's final chapter, too, and I've started writing my next thing. It is in some ways very much more of the same as the currently-posting casefic, but with less plot twists and more Zhu Jiu. Have the first paragraph:

Shen Wei put down the manuscript printout he'd been reading and rubbed his eyes. With the amount of comments he was leaving, he was at great risk of becoming the dreaded Reviewer 2 with unreasonable demands, but the results and discussion section was infuriatingly vague, and they'd misunderstood the paper of his they'd cited. The scientific community depended on his corrections.

This one has an outline with 9 scene-blocks that will probably split into multiple scenes each, so 10k to 20k, I think. More likely to be near the 20k end of the range.
