Original Character preferences

I like M/M and F/F; for F/M I prefer a vaguely femdom-y dynamic where the woman has more power than the man. (Social, political, military – your choice. Just someone who does not bend or expect herself to bend.)

I like aliens! My favorite alien species are (in alphabetical order) Chiss, Mirialans, Togruta, Twi'lek, and Zabrak, but feel free to pick another species or make up your own.

WRT names: I know Star Wars has a long and glorious tradition of silly names, but don't make them too silly (Savage Opress is too much), and please don't give them names that are associated with the opposite gender in Finnish. (In KOTOR, Juhani is a lesbian catgirl; in Finnish, Juhani is a man's name.)

I absolutely adore competence, especially in women. Competence, ambition, determination, use of every tool at their disposal. The archetype I uncritically adore is the Scientist: the smart, competent person who is absolutely thrilled to have discovered something, anything new. To have understood one more piece of the universe.

Alternatively, the "I have no idea what I'm doing" type who improvised their way in and will wing their way out, leaving behind a large pile of explosions. Characters getting in over their heads and not quitting.

Other aspects I appreciate in characters are the ability to enjoy adrenaline thrills, curiosity, knowing WTF they're doing or at least pretending that they do, and women lifting heavy objects. Creativity and creative problem-solving. Knowing the rules and exploiting them.

Familiarity with Star Warses

I have watched all of Rebels, Rogue One, and The Clone Wars 3D animated series. I've played both KOTOR 1 and KOTOR 2 but none of the other games. I've read all three books of the new Thrawn trilogy (Thrawn, Alliances, Treason) plus Chaos Rising. My knowledge of the three movie trilogies is purely based on osmosis. Use whatever canon you deem appropriate; I do not mind being spoiled for Star Wars.

KOTOR I/II

For KOTOR 1, I really enjoyed the reveal and companions' reactions to that. The potential for identity stuff/doubting one's recollections is super cool; I'd appreciate a chance for Revan to yell at the Jedi Council.
Revan preference: Light Side(-ish) but not necessarily aligned with the Jedi Council/forging her own path. Not the distracted from mission to kick all the puppies type DS actions that a DS playthrough involves, at any rate. Please ignore any EU material from outside the game. My favorites among the companions are Juhani and Jolee. My least favorite is Carth.

For KOTOR 2, I am very much into the "there's something intrinsically metaphysically wrong and horrifying about the Exile and that makes them unstoppably compelling to everyone they meet" schtick, so leaning into that is very welcome! I really enjoyed the tone of the thing and the colossal loyalty kink possibilities, plus the slow unfolding of the premise and realizations.
Exile preference: inscrutable and mysterious, ideally Light Side(-ish). Light Is Not Nice -type stuff is welcome if that inspires you. Meetra Surik is an acceptable name, though please ignore any EU material from outside the game. My favorites among the companions are Visas, Handmaiden, Bao-Dur and T3-M4. My least favorites are G0-T0 and Atton.

Female Jedi Exile/Visas Marr

• Breaking the oath. After only just meeting her, Visas already considers the Exile a paradise valley. How? Why? Does she realize it's a reflection of the Exile being a wound in the Force, creating Force bonds with all?
• Visas falls from the darkness to the light, in a way. What is it like to fall in that direction?
• A fully-trained Jedi is a dangerous thing, as the denizens of Dantooine would no doubt inform you. After serving Darth Nihilus for so long, what would Visas expect from the Exile she now serves? How does the exile compare to the expectations?
• Dark F/F where the Exile is like the lure on an anglerfish, and Visas cannot help but fall.
• Missionfic of something unknown, either during or after canon. The tomb of a Sith Lord? Some political snare? Has Czerka regrouped to threaten the Ithorians again?
• Post-canon fic with the Exile and her followers/students reforming the Jedi Order
• Does Visas sneak off to join the Exile to confront the threat in the Unknown Regions? What is the threat, and what must be done about it? (Please ignore all of The Old Republic. Feel free to disregard as much of the rest of the EU as you wish.)

Brianna/Female Jedi Exile

• Revan and Yuthura going on a grand mission of slave liberation!
• I love the redemption/"was Sith, now no longer" thing they have in common. Did Yuthura recognize this was Revan? What did she think, when the Dark Lord herself told her to return to the Light Side? Did she have a crush on Revan with her mask and helmet?
• AU in which the Jedi Council thinks Yuthura should join Revan in her quest to find the Star Maps. Do they need to go look for an extra Star Map after the canon ones prove inconclusive?
• Post-canon exploration of the Uncharted World.
• Revan takes Yuthura with her to face the threat in the Unknown Regions. (Please ignore all of The Old Republic. Feel free to disregard as much of the rest of the EU as you wish.)

Thrawn ships

I prefer characterization based on 2017/Chaos Rising Thrawn. See OC preferences up above as necessary. I am really into young Thrawn trying to figure out how to people/politics and taking his friends' lead on that, and cool, calculating Thrawn meeting worthy adversaries, people who intrigue him, and people who respect his skills but do not necessarily agree to join his cause. Also Thrawn getting dommed into a puddle. I read Chaos Rising and had a Lot of feelings about young Thrawn and his utter lack of political finesse. DNW noncon with Thrawn as the aggressor.

Ar'alani/Thrawn | Mitth'raw'nuruodo

• I like all their canon interactions, how Thrawn looks to her for social/political guidance in CR and her grumpy acceptance of his stuff in the main trilogy. So! Canon-typical adventures:
• Thrawn and Ar'alani defeating the enemies of the Ascendancy together with Ar'alani as Thrawn's CO! Pirates? First hostile contact with the Grysk?
• Ar'alani attempting to teach Thrawn how to handle politics (and failing)
• In an effort to utterly scandalize her family, Ar'alani brings Thrawn home to an Irizi dinner party.
• Actually, anything where Ar'alani uses Thrawn as a willing pawn in her family internal politics would be cool! Some sort of friends to lovers thing where she's scandalizing her family and Thrawn gets to look at the art? Maybe he analyzes the art of some political/familial opponent of hers and she uses that in her planning?

Ba'kif/Thrawn | Mitth'raw'nuruodo

• I liked their interactions in Chaos Rising! Ba'kif trying to keep this young and promising officer from political censure.
• Thrawn having a crush on the Supreme General that he can't hide properly, which Ba'kif finds cute?
• Due to Reasons, Ba'kif is in charge of a military engagement and Thrawn is his subordinate. Thrawn finds it hot.
• Ba'kif bends Thrawn over his desk. Or someone else's desk. Or a random table.
• Honestly, anything with Ba'kif railing Thrawn is good.

Purrgil King/Thrawn | Mitth'raw'nuruodo

• Thrawn gets tentacled.
• Thrawn gets tentacled, but the purrgil telepathically talk art to him while he's getting tentacled?
• Honestly, you probably already know what you're going to write. Go. Do that.

Thrawn/Original Art Critic Who's Constantly Criticising the Empire in Their Articles

• I am envisioning a really grouchy art critic whose opinions Thrawn somehow really really loves. Thrawn has a crush on the art critic from afar and tries to keep his favorite critic from harm?
• The art critic knows of Thrawn somehow (is Thrawn's art appreciation famous? Thrawn sent the critic fanmail arguing some point? art critique holonet circles are just that small?) and ... something?
• Does the Empire-critical art critic somehow manage to help Thrawn out in some political thing at the start of his career?
• Thrawn and the art critic meet at some art event and get into an argument over art.

Thrawn | Mitth'raw'nuruodo/Museum Curator Secretly Working for the Rebellion

• Somehow, art is the key to defeating the Empire?
• Thrawn makes a habit of visiting a museum every time he can. He wants to know everything about all the art, unlike most visitors, so the curator cannot help but be thrilled even while pumping him for information. And it's been a long while since Thrawn got to talk with someone who truly appreciated art...
• Or Thrawn gets a crush on the museum curator who likes talking about art a lot and isn't xenophobic at him, and pursues the curator – who is torn between wanting to pump Thrawn for information, wanting to keep Thrawn away lest Thrawn be hurt, and wanting to accept everything to get to talk about art to Thrawn.

• Thrawn has always wanted to look at some Jedi art, so when he comes across a Jedi artist, he doesn't call in Darth Vader/the Inquisitorius and instead gets distracted talking art with the Jedi.
• Or Thrawn comes across a Jedi artist during the Clone Wars somehow (Thawn meets the Jedi artist intead of Anakin, Thrawn has another mission corewards, the Jedi's ship gets tossed to the Chaos) and they hit off?
• Thrawn is sent to take out a rebel cell – but then he discovers that the rebel leader is an artist. He can't just take out an artist without investigating the art, can he? And then when he discovers the rebel leader is a Jedi, he's even more unwilling to just kill him off without tracking down some art and maybe meet the artist...

• Thrawn appreciates an art. The art appreciates him back.
• Is it a sculpture? A wall hanging? I'm imagining something abstract and formless.

• The rebel spy is probably here to pump the subsubcontractor for intel and/or take them to the rebellion ... but can they actually do that, or is all their time taken up by the subsubcontractor whining?
• Does the rebel spy promise better pay conditions in the restored republic?

Jedi Survivor Who Joins The Rebellion/Separatist Who Also Joins The Rebellion

• The opportunity for politics and past hurts is so good! Did they meet on the battlefield? What preconceptions do they have of each other?
• For reasons, they have to go on a mission together. Undercover work? Breaking into a top-secret installation? Stealing spare parts and fuel for the Rebel fleet?
• They're sent to assess a location for suitability for use as the Rebel base, and things happen. They're trapped in a cave-in? Their ship breaks? Wildlife steals their fuel?
