Getting up to speed on the canons

Knights of the Old Republic I & II: Two video games. Available natively for Windows and Mac, with II also available for Linux, cost about 10€ each the last time I checked. Available on GOG and Steam. Screenshot LP for I, all game dialogue for I, screenshot LP for II, all game dialogue for II. Time to completion should be about 30-40 hours each.
Star Wars: The Old Republic: A MMO. You can get the class stories (incl. Sith Inquisitor and Jedi Consular) as a free to play player – they take about 30-40 hours too, I think. For the requests with Zash, the Consular, and Yuon Par you can do with just the class story. For Gesselle Organa, you only need to do Sith Warrior Alderaan. Here is the entire quest. For Acina, while you do encounter her after Makeb with the Seeker Droid missions, you need the KOTET expansion, for which you need to subscribe for at least one month – 13€, last time I checked.
Star Wars: The Clone Wars: 133-episode TV series; episode length 25 minutes. It's owned by Disney so streaming options are probably country-dependent.
Star Wars Prequel Trilogy: Three ~2h movies. Can probably be streamed somewhere.

Star Wars Legends: Knights of the Old Republic I & II

I really enjoyed the reveal and companions' reactions to that. The potential for identity stuff/doubting one's recollections is super cool; I'd appreciate a chance for Revan to yell at the Jedi Council. Please ignore absolutely everything about the Revan novel and the "Revan" appearance in SWTOR.
Revan preferences: Light Side-ish, or at least not the "kicks puppies for fun" type of darksider. Pragmatic. Charismatic. Competent. Please ignore the Revan novel and SWTOR.

WRT the Jedi bashing/Jedi Council bashing DNW: All the Council agreed on the mindwipe and they were wrongity wrong and remain so = bashing. The Council had internal disagreements on what to do, even if a majority voted for the mindwipe, and at least someone apologizes to Revan = not bashing.

Other than the requested, I also like T3-M4, Juhani, Jolee, Visas, and Bao-Dur.

Adventure Experience Prompts

• Missionfic of something unknown, either during or after canon. The tomb of a Sith Lord? Some political snare? Has Czerka regrouped to threaten the Ithorians again?
• Post-canon fic with the Exile and her followers/students reforming the Jedi Order

Star Wars Legends: The Old Republic

SWTOR! I got into the MMO in Feb 2021; the Sith Inquisitor was the first character I played and I have mine current with all content (so no need to fear spoilers). I liked the [electrocute] options and the hilarious quantities of sass and snark, as well as the focus on ancient mysteries and Sith archaeology. Like, seriously, write me a fic that is just the Inquisitor investigating Rakatan ruins and I will be ecstatic. Please refer to the Inquisitor as Darth Nox/Occlus/Imperius if set at an appropriate place in the timeline. My personal Inquisitor is a Zabrak, but I like the other alien options as well.

I'm not really into Zakuul or Valkorion family drama.

• Maybe a visit to a Sith Temple at some point in the timeline – ancient artefacts for the defeat of the Republic/Empire?

Darth Acina/Female Sith Inquisitor
I like Acina! I like the opportunity here for Empress/perhaps-loyal Right Hand, with the Inquisitor (Nox, Occlus, Imperius) the head of Ancient Mysteries and being a nice and loyal Imp, sure, but they're Sith, there's always that "well what if she betrays me?" thing in the background. If you want to write an AU where someone else is the Outlander and the Inquisitor remained in the Empire, playing politics and potentially getting Acina the throne: go ahead!

• Acina's the questgiver for the Dread Seeds mission, so something with Acina going along with her new colleague on the Dark Council to capture all the Dread Seeds and stop the Dread Masters?
• Actually, Acina and the Inquisitor dealing with the Dread Masters story arc, Explosive Conflict to the Dread Seeds to Oricon to the Oricon ops. Just – that.
• Or, once Acina is Empress, some rival (Vowrawn? Ravage?) has established a base somewhere, time to go in with her right-hand woman to eliminate them?

Female Sith Inquisitor/Darth Zash
Please have Zash be in her original body, not Khem's. Thank you!

• "Here is the lightsaber I had when I was an apprentice! Now assassinate my enemies for me" is 100% exactly what I want in my femslash ships. So, uh, more of proud Sith master Zash setting achievable murder targets for the Sithquisitor?
• AU where Zash gets her eternal youth not through body snatching but through some dark side sex ritual.
• AU where the ritual Zash comes up with doesn't necessitate either her or Khem dying, but manages to reconstitute her body along the way, and all the awkward reactions that ensue.
• Zash said she almost forsook the ritual – what if she had? Zash and the Inquisitor shopping for a new body for Zash together?

Gesselle Organa/Female Sith Warrior
Gesselle Organa is the pragmatic Alderaani general who knows about Jaesa's parents. Here is my playthrough of the quest involving her. (~7min) I liked the ability to do diplomacy in the Warrior story and the ability to absolutely break everyone's minds by being light sided. My personal warrior is a big BT3 Sith Pureblood, but humans also fit. (Not really that fond of any of the Warrior comps tbh. Please keep any Vette spunkiness to a minimum.)

• After becoming the Emperor's Wrath, the Warrior comes to stop a scheme of Baras's on Alderaan. Who else to tip off than the very pragmatic General Organa?
• Or the Alderaan mission goes differently – Lord Kendoh sends someone to trap the Warrior in with the Organa forces? One of Baras's rivals spots an opportunity to get rid of Baras's asset? Ulgo/Rist/Thul forces decide to take out the General's command post at exactly the wrong moment? – leading to the Warrior and General Organa being pinned down and fighting side by side either against enemy forces or to survive the bunker collapse/landslide/harsh nature.
• Or the Warrior decides to actually defect to the Republic and decides to approach the pragmatic General from Alderaan first. How would that go? (Insert a mutual peril of your choice.)

Female Jedi/Female Sith Who Used to Be Her Best Friend
DNW: the Jedi being the Jedi Knight or the Jedi Consular, and the Sith being the Sith Warrior or the Sith Inquisitor
My first thought when watching the Mustafar duel in RotS was "This would be really hot if it were lesbians", so if you want to make my horny dreams come true, here's your chance!

• What happened? Why did the Sith Fall?
• What are the circumstances of their reunion?
• Does the Jedi try to bring her Sith friend back to the light? Is this desperate reunion sex or resentful hatesex on both their parts?
• There's an inherent eroticism to lightsaber duels, so, that.
• But yes! The tragedy! The drama! The "how could you!" The duels! Meeting under the moonlight on an unnamed planet, fighting duels across the galaxy, each seeking to stop or bring home the other.

Colorblind Male Jedi/Confused Male Sith Roommate

• The Sith flubs and waves around his lightsaber when he shouldn't, all "fuck fuck fuck" inside at how he accidentally broke his cover, except that this Jedi isn't doing anything and why is that? Is this all some ploy? WTF?
• The moment the Sith realizes that the Jedi is so colorblind he assumed the red lightsaber was actually green.
• Does the Sith grow fond of the Jedi? "This Jedi is an idiot, but I guess he's my idiot now"? Trying really hard to pretend to be a Jedi pretending to be whatever he's undercover as?
• The moment the Jedi realizes that actually, his roomie's lightsaber isn't green like his, it's red and he's a Sith.
• Or does the Sith keep it under wraps until he's called back to his masters, only to decide that he should probably defect to the Jedi, actually, leading to the Council going WTF at our colorblind Jedi?

Star Wars: The Clone Wars

I really enjoyed the prequels in all their ridiculous glory, especially the lightsaber fights and the sense of a sweeping world and the Jedi and the Jedi Temple. I love the space wizards and their vaguely Buddhist philosophy and telekinetic powers. I really like people figuring out their place in the universe and helping others on their journeys. I'm also not fussy if you end up writing a PT-era fic even if we matched on TCW or vice versa.

Note regarding the Jedi: Please no Jedi bashing or Jedi Council bashing. They can be acting on bad/misleading information, but I'd like them to be well-intentioned and not be on a mission to be petty and rude to Anakin Skywalker. Canon-compliant fic is 100% fine, but please nothing set in or after a canon-compliant Order 66.

On how to deal with Padmé: you can set your fic in an AU where she and Anakin never got together, they broke up offscreen pre-fic, or just never mention her.

Shmi Skywalker/Jedi Girlfriend

After all that has happened, Shmi really deserves a nice girlfriend. I have a huge preference for Force-sensitive Shmi. I also like it when she has more rough edges and despite doing her best to raise Anakin isn't just a saintly self-sacrificing mother. I'm also not fussy if you end up writing a PT-era fic even if we matched on TCW or vice versa.

On the Shmi requests and stories about motherhood DNW: Anakin's allowed to exist and be present; just give Shmi something to do that is not parenting him and motivations beyond "must raise child". (Idle thoughts à la "I hope my son's doing well" or "I'm glad Anakin isn't around to get caught in the splash damage of what I am about to unleash" are also okay.)

Exile preferences: Inscrutable and mysterious, including to herself. Ideally Light Side-ish. I liked the canon tone! I like the name Meetra Surik, but please ignore the rest of the Revan novel and SWTOR.

• Does the Exile get sent to the future at the battle of Malachor? As she's wandering the galaxy, cut off from the Force? After defeating Kreia, looking around the Unknown Reaches? What does she think of Shmi and what do they do together?
• Or it's Shmi who gets transported to the past. When does she meet the Exile – as the loyal general, the dispirited wanderer, the Jedi who is becoming a Jedi anew, or the new head of the Jedi Order? What does Shmi think of her quest and how does Shmi's presence affect it?
• The way the Exile cut herself off from the Force is fascinating. Can Shmi sense it? How does Shmi's presence affect the Exile?
• The Exile training Shmi in the ways of the Force/as a Jedi apprentice

Female Jedi Consular/Shmi Skywalker (Canon/Legends Crossovers)
Consular preferences: Light Side. Excellent Jedi. Species-wise, I like Togruta and Zabraks; other carnivorous species would likely also deal well with Qyzen. I like how sharp and canny you get to be as the Consular!

• The Consular sure does investigate a lot of ruins! If one of them contained a Force anomaly that brought her to Shmi, how would she react? Would they stick it to the Hutts? Go do some more archaeology in the desert? Join up with the Jedi? Go try to negotiate with the Separatists?
• Or it's Shmi who gets tossed to the past. Does she meet the Consular during the Tatooine quest? Tython? Doing diplomacy with the Rift Alliance? Post-Corellia? Does she want to join in or suggest a different path?
• The Consular training Shmi as a Jedi, with or without Nadia

Yuon Par/Shmi Skywalker (Canon/Legends Crossovers)

• Yuon is an archaeologist by trade – her life has a plethora of chances to touch something she shouldn't and get tossed into the future. When does she meet Shmi? After the plague's been cured? Before she takes on the Consular? Or, on Shmi's side, does she turn up before or after Qui-Gon? Before Shmi and Anakin have been sold to Tatooine, even? Does Yuon just free Shmi (and Anakin) or try to free other slaves? Is there a tomb or other structure they end up exploring?
• Or Shmi lands in the past. Yuon said she wanted to train one last padawan before the illness took her, but now that she's cured, does she want another? Or simply a new accomplice for tomb raiding and archaeology, now that Qyzen is hanging out with the Consular?
• Mix and match with adventure prompts (SWTOR, PT) as needed!
