I've been a bit busy with other things, so this is a bit late. Sorry.

Now, I decided to "return to roots" with this, so to speak, and offer something that I haven't really talked about before: Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. I reeeeally liked the Major, and she was a bit of a formative influence, I think. But what I've carried with me the most is the music. Not limited to Japanese and English, but also spanning such languages as Russian and Italian in a much more global than usual linguistic palette, the lyrics are more than word salad evocative of a feel and instead rather gut-punchy in places, and it's all COMPOSED BY YOKO KANNO.
