Carth's all "I don't trust you!" and Bastila keeps bothering you with rants about falling to the dark side. Now, given that you're Revan, it makes sense for Carth to distrust you and Bastila to be concerned about you heeding the call of darkness. However, for most of the game, it just makes them annoying. I'd wish that they'd added some red herrings, like your face reminding Carth of a loathed teacher, and Bastila having seen too many of her friends fall to the Darkness during the Mandalorian Wars, or something along those lines. Sure, it's a red herring, but it gives a reason for their actions beyond "they're annoying assholes".
