space_swap deadline was today, and while some people had extensions, most had no trouble with the deadline. There is now one new pinch hit available; deadline is on Sunday my time. Relatedly, I realized I screwed up a bit with the reveals time and will have to open on mobile. Dear self, please remember that travel for Easter happens on the Thursday...

The sid_guardian Reverse Exchange assignments will go out within a week. I am on the one hand happy at being able to send tailored requests, yet on the other hand a bit sad at not being able to write a long letter and throw it into the wind (and then peek out at the sorts of prompts other people are leaving). I hope I can get at least the first draft of my MDZS WIP done before the assignments come, but, uh, I tried to write that yesterday and instead I wrote something completely different:

I also have a mostly-finished shot PWP-y WIP inspired by lannamichaels noting that Shen Wei looked almost jealous of Kunlun collaring Da Qing. The entire plot is that Shen Wei gets a collar (in addition to the collar-substitute necklace) and is happy about it because Zhao Yunlan gave it to him and he doesn't have to be jealous of his cat anymore, and then they fuck.

Mostly I'm just tired, though. At least I got the screencaps and the episode notes for ep 8 done, though there are quite a few screencaps more than necessary due to my uh unsharpness. Then I uploaded them all because why the hell not.

Your Ye Zun fic was so wonderful, and I know I commented there already but I had to say it again. It is now my own personal headcanon for the moment, that all of that happened.

You cannot begin to understand how much I'm looking forward to your collar fic. Do you need a cheerleader? A beta? I'm better at the former than the latter but I'm HERE FOR IT.

♥ Thank you! I thought that present Ye Zun and past Ye Zun were a fair bit different in some ways, so obviously something had to have happened in the last 10k years. There are other ways, but Ye Zun trying to reform Dixing and failing, over and over, was one very delicious juicy way to get into.

The collar fic has 800+ words of the porn already written (I really enjoy doing Storytime for a live audience, and wrote that out in a Discord chatroom), so it only needs the setup of Zhao Yunlan noticing Shen Wei's collar envy and then some tweaking to make the porn more scorching. I'll get it done on my own time, but I need to be in the right mood to get it done, and today is very much not it, unfortunately. Maybe over the weekend?

Haha that's great, I usually write the porn absolutely last because I dread writing it. I used to be good at it but lately writing porn is like pulling teeth.

Discord is awesome for throwing around ideas (and enabling others). I wouldn't have written half of my Teen Wolf fics without it.
