These where both really good. I appreciate that you are writing fic with moms, especially moms that are marginalized by canon.

If you ever want to write a continuation of Abluent of the Mind I'd be excited to read it.

Thank you! Yu Ziyuan is a bit sidelined in the novel but got really shortcharged by the adaptation. Of course I'd seize the opportunity to write about her rescuing some troublemakers from the water!

I don't think there'll be an official sequel to Abluent of the Mind, but let's just say that they all live happily ever after, even Ye Zun.

Are you talking about the animated adaptation? I haven't seen that but I have been watching The Untamed, the drama adaptation. In that they gave Yu Ziyuan a dramatic death scene, which I skiped over because I have thing about dead moms. So I can't really say how it treated her. In general though The Untamed has been making changes that give the female characters more screen time -- and I approve of this.

I will very happily image them all living happily ever after.

Yes, the animated one! I haven't watched The Untamed, but I hear they've increased at least Wen Qing's role and perhaps Jiang Yanli's as well, which I'm on board with.

Yes! Both Wen Qing and Jiang Yanli's roles have been expanded.

(The last couple of episode I've watched haven't had any LWJ so its just been intense sibling feelings.)

!!! I will definitely be watching it at some point. (Real talk: Lan Wangji was one of my least favorite parts of the novel. All the Yunmeng sibling feels were so much more interesting.)

I mean there is still a lot of Lan Wangji in the drama. But I've been really enjoying the Yunmeng sibling feels. There have been some good sibling moments between Wen Qing and Wen Ning as well.

Given the source, it's not like I expected them to ditch Lan Wangji, so. I'm glad the hear there's a bunch of Yunmeng sibling feels, and that they increased the sibling feelings between Wen Qing and Wen Ning.
