16. Favorite conversation between Zhao Yunlan and Shen Wei
Well, depends on how one defines favorite! My current favorite is the one in the hospital, where Zhao Yunlan saves the day with his wire cutters and they have this conversation:
Zhao Yunlan: "I would miss you if you were gone."
Shen Wei: :o

It's also a nice end for their kitchen scene argument, since Shen Wei was in the doghouse and now he's promised he'll tell his secrets eventually. (One can argue whether he fulfilled the promise, but he did promise, and Zhao Yunlan trusts him a lot all the time.)

That's a good scene! Zhao Yunlan gets to show off his skills and be flirty, Shen Wei gets to tease a little openness (even if he never delivers on it, cough, pendant dropping upon death does not count), and that grey suit is Very Nice. The body language as Zhao Yunlan makes Shen Wei slowly sit is great too; a very non-verbal expression of trust there. Shen Wei's no good at wording his feelings, but at least he can accept some influence from Zhao Yunlan.

Indeed. Now I want all the truth serum scenarios for Shen Wei/other ways to force him to disclose. While he and Yunlan are alive. It's charming yet odd how they trust each other so totally yet Shen Wei refuses to tell Zhao Yunlan things. At least say that you can't tell yet and you don't know when you can tell, but that day will come when you receive an external signal, y'know?

I did manage to set up the Bluetooth (finally!) so I could enjoy a wire-free experience at work in the lab.

He even says "how could I ever be happy" - it really impressed me as pretty explicit compared to their other conversations.

I am already thinking about my fave conversation between them, too, but I haven't decided. :) This one's great, though.

It's such a relationship moment stolen from the censors and also such a colossal clue bat in Shen Wei's face. Someone would miss him if he died! Stop being a self-sacrificial idiot!
