I continued to plug along at the SWTOR storyline! I've completed Yavin now, as well as Ziost.

The storyline was still transparently an effort to be able to make Republic and Imperial players all do the same quests, and I didn't like what they did with Revan, but Yavin's ~mood~ was cool, and I liked the caves and jungle and the slight sense of standing at the foot of mysteries unknown.

The bit where Revan had split in two/ejected his Light Side half and hung around (Darth Sion-like?) with the power of the Dark Side to get his revenge on the Emperor was kinda nice, even if this is Not My Revan Headcanon at all. The Emperor is also another "everyone works against one boss regardless of faction" deal, but eh, a Sith's a Sith, and my character is a member of the Dark Council and thus can vote to take over the Empire from the absentee Emperor. Gameplay-wise, I think I liked the flashpoint at the end of Rishi more than the Revan bossfight, but storywise, I think Yavin flowed better. (It was also shorter.) Having Darth Marr turn up made my presence as a Dark Council member questing about the galaxy significantly less weird, and I would like all the fanfic where Darth Marr and Satele Shan are very awkwardly sitting at the same table debating tactics. The bossfight's idea was cool, though the execution was a bit meh due to a) the fact that the colors of the orbs didn't exactly match the companions I was supposed to bring them to (blue went with a different shade of blue, and red to ... blue-purple), and b) Revan being a stunlocker. Nothing quite like spending 5 minutes sipping tea while stunlocked, watching NPCs murder the big boss.

Also, I got to do this:

An utter lack of social distancing, F/F version.

Ziost was transitionary in a way, and short, but I had no complaints about the main plot (which felt nice and urgent) or the level design (not too vast). The ending was very impactful, too, and the resulting post-apoc ashland environment is one of the more effective ones. I did one round of dailies there, but I don't really want or need any of the Ziost rewards so I doubt I'll return. (Ziost stronghold when?)

Oricon: all soloable missions done, dailies run a few times. I watched the Imperial side Ops cutscenes on YouTube.

CZ-198: still haven't done the flashpoints. Should perhaps run the dailies a few times.

Other dailies status: Yavin rewards are nice (dye schematic!) and dailies nice enough to run; capped for the week. Section X and Rishi feel more spread out, even if they too have dye schematic rewards. Might run them at some point.

Macrobinoculars: Quesh and Belsavis minibosses done, Alderaan scanned, next up Voss and Belsavis. I quite like the puzzles of the miniboss dungeons; spending 30 minutes running around Alderaan in a speeder not so much. (Even if the planet chat was delightful to read.) My go-to time waster/filler when I'm capped on reputation on my main questline planet.

Seeker Droid: next up is the raid on the Arcanum. I might need to consult a guide to see whether I want to continue? The seeker droid stuff is significantly more annoying than the macrobinocular scanning, and both quests end with a nonsoloable mission.

For best results, probe through the Jawa.

HK-51(?) recruitment quest: stalled. I hear it's a long one, and (I know this is sacrilige, but) HK-47 wasn't my favorite companion in either of the KOTORs. I am not that into an inferior knockoff.

I suppose I should decide if I want to finish up the HK recruitment quest before starting KotFE. (Except I seem to have talked myself out of it. Oh well.) Or I could avoid the decision by rolling a Jedi Knight, which I'm probably going to do tomorrow. (Cons: no gay kissing.) I'll see about plonking about with two characters! The Knight might end up being the Republic character of mine that gets to do Makeb/endgame content or might not, depending on how fun she'll be to play.
