I would not have called myself cold, but one of the things I've noticed since saying "Sayonara, sucker" to my ex is that I've rediscovered my joie de vivre. Life is fun, and happiness is nice. I no longer embrace the misery.
Work is nice. The best feeling ever is when one's been taught to do something new and then one is asked to do it independently without any great fanfare. Trust is the emotion I most like receiving.
