On top/bottom

Assigning everyone as top or bottom is limiting one's choices needlessly, and some characters just aren't either top or bottom. For example, Shen Wei is obviously strange and Zhao Yunlan charm. We have six options here, time to use all of them! This also gives us the opportunity to describe OTPs as mesons and OT3s as baryons. (OT4s and OT5s are also attested in the form of tetraquarks and pentaquarks.) So, what sort of meson is your OTP? Or perhaps you have an OT3 that is in need of a baryonic description? Or perhaps your polyship needs to be matched to the exotic hadron that best describes it?

I would like to suggest, for the sake of maximum disambiguation that we drop 'top' and 'bottom' altogether in favor of the alternate names 'truth' and 'beauty' (In which case GCC is probably 'truth'? And LJ strikes me as an 'up.' Still thinking about the rest of the team)

Ah yes, seconded! Yes, Guo Changcheng is truth and Lin Jing an up. I think Chu Shuzhi might be a down because he's down on most things? We also need to include the antiquarks in here as well, but how, hmm...

Chu Shuzhi could definitely be down! That leaves Da Qing and Zhu Hong from the main team. I’d say all cats are Strange, though some of them might disagree with that assessment. Zhu Hong could be beauty? (If I hadn’t just suggested we switch to truth I’d say she was top, but)

Ah yes anti-quarks! I propose Ye Zun is anti-charm :D

Da Qing would probably say that he's a beauty (though I would think he's a strange, too). Yeah, Zhu Hong would be a top, but ... I could see charm, given her Yashou powers? Or truth as well.

If Ye Zun is an anti-charm, then the Shen Wei-Ye Zun relationship is a negative strange D meson.

She does have more admirers than anyone else in the show, which is a strong argument for both charm and beauty. Hypnotism does lean more towards the former than the latter though I suppose.

"Negative Strange" does seem like an accurate way of summing up their relationship, though I don't think it involves much weak interaction for them!

Valid! If you have an OT3 of them, that's an Omega baryon. The expected lifetime is only about 10^-11 seconds, but hey, nothing lasts forever! :D

So, is Ye Zun strange too, or is he just a standard bottom? :P Orrr I see someone else suggested truth and beauty instead, in which case he is obviously a beauty.

OMG THERE IS A SONG! Yes, that is a very good song for the sexy sexy weilan meson. And I pegged Ye Zun as a bottom, since that way the twincest threesome baryon would be the charmed bottom omega baryon, which has the cutest name. Beauty also works very well for him. He has very pettable hair!
